Playing in the snow

Gabi and her playgroup went sledding this morning. Gabi wanted nothing to do with the sleds (thank you Bill) but she thoroughly enjoyed playing in the snow. She plopped right down and made snow angels and rolled around. I guess I need to suck it up and go outside with her more often :)

Shedd Aquarium

Gabi and I went to the Shedd with my friend Liz and her daughter Eve today. What a fun adventure. Gabi loved every second of the trip...except the part where we had to go home.
She decided that she's a mommy penguin :) She fell in love with penguins and the play area they set up for the kids. They got to wear penguin costumes and play with eggs...Gabi put her eggs in a nest and sat on them :)

Valentine's Day party

After ballet Gabi and I went to the Newcomer's Valentines day party. Gabi did a few crafts (she's in love with gluing) and ate LOTS of sweets. It was a fun way to start our week.

Gabi's first haircut

We finally decided to get Gabi's haircut. What an impressive set up...DVDs, fancy cars to sit in, toys, etc. She did a great job and she looks adorable!
