Gabi thoroughly enjoyed decorating her giant gingerbread man. I was a little shocked when she picked it up and took a bite out of his head :)

Emmett's 4 month appointment

Well, it's confirmed, Emmett is a big guy :) He's 26.5 inches long (92nd percentile) and 16 pounds, 2 ounces (69th percentile).
He's happy and healthy. The doctor said I need to keep going with the solids (which I started last week). He seems to enjoy every bite!

Happy Saint Nicholaus Day

We all woke up to full stockings this morning! What a fun way to start the week! Gabi loved every minute of it and Emmett just seemed happy to watch his silly sister running around :)

Happy Turkey Day! We had a wonderful celebration in the CL. Family and food...what more could you ask for?!

Emmett has such great head and neck control that we thought we'd try him in the entertainer. Well it was a success! He's growing up so fast.

Bathing E

Emmett got a bath today and Alyssa was here to take some pictures. He just chills in the bath and enjoys himself. And Gabs thoroughly enjoys bathing her brother :) poor guy

Caterpillar for breakfast

Auntie Sissy is going above and beyond. She's here helping out and keeping us company while Bill's abroad. I got up this morning and found this breakfast laid out for Gabi. What a lucky lady. She ate it all up!

Happy Emmett

We picked Gabs up from school and headed to the park for a picnic. As you can see Emmett had a great time :)

How big is Emmett?...

Sooooooooooo BIG! :) Emmett had some reflux issues so we went to the doctor today. He's all better so no worries. We just found out that he outgrew his dosage. Sir Emmett gained 2 pounds this past month! He's already 14 pounds 8 ounces. His weight is nice and healthy said the doctor (aka CHUNK) hehehe

Emmett's first trip to the zoo

Gabi showed her brother around the zoo today. She told him the names of each animal. I think he's got it down :)

Trick or Treating

Gabi wasn't up for doing a lot of trick or treating. After several houses she asked if we could go home so she could eat her candy :)

Halloween parade

Gabi was a very happy pink bunny this year. Nonni and Poppi joined us for the parade and in town trick or treating. It was a great afternoon. Emmett was an adorable penguin (Gabi picked out his costume) but he enjoyed a nap during the parade :)

Checking things out

Emmett is now enjoying watching his mobile and playing on his activity mat! Of course Gabi can't miss out on the fun so she'll join Emmett for tummy time :)

Emmett's 2 month appointment

Emmett was a rock star at his 2 month appointment this afternoon! He's happy and healthy. And he takes his vaccines like a champ!
He weights 12 pounds 7 ounces (69th percentile) and he's 23.5 inches long (79th percentile). His head is in the 13th percentile. Our kids have wee heads I guess :)
Gabi slept through the entire appointment in her stroller...it was wonderful!

Fire pit

Gabi got to try out her new fire pit this evening. We made smores and hot dogs! YUM!

Gabi had another little birthday celebration on Saturday. She LOVES all the company and attention! Well, she loves the presents too :)
