We finally got Greg's castle blown up. Gabi is ecstatic and I'm not sure I'm loving my brother :)

Christmas 2009

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting our first Christmas. As you can see Santa spoiled all of us once again this year. Merry Christmas!...ho ho ho

Breakfast with Santa

Gabi had a fun time eating treats and making crafts but Santa seemed to ruin the breakfast for her. We tried to get her to take a picture but as you can see it wasn't what we were hoping for :)

St. Nicholas Day

When I brought Gabi downstairs this morning she looked at the lit Christmas tree and the stockings sitting by the fireplace and said, "mommy, I think it Christmas". She was right, St. Nick paid us a visit last night. Despite being sick Gabi was excited to go through her stocking. She loves her new Princess and horse...they're "amazing." :)

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration in Crystal Lake. Gabi and Josephine got to spend lots of time together. We're going to miss the Baker clan.

Ballet class

I got some pictures of our little ballerina in action today! She is loving her class and I thoroughly enjoy watching her prance around the room :)

Trick or Treat

We thought Gabi might want to stay in and hand out candy. Wow, were we wrong. She LOVED trick or treating. She ran to each house and said "chocolate treat" and then "thank you!". I love it! What a fun day.

Halloween

This morning Poppi and Cole came for a visit. Gabi got dressed up and we went downtown for the parade and trick or treating. Gabi thoroughly enjoyed the experience this year...especially the chocolate!

Accessorizing

Gabi decided to put all sorts of accessories on today. I think she needs to listen to the more famous Gabrielle. Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel..."when accessorizing, always take off the last thing you put on" Actually she probably should have listened to her 2 accessories ago :)

Music class Halloween party!

There was a party at music class today. Gabi wouldn't put on her flower or bee costume for the celebration. I told her we had to get dressed for the party...somehow she interpreted that it must be her birthday :) I got a "wow, yippee...my birthday, cake...yummy, yummy!" So we dressed up as a butterfly princess or something like that :) At least she had a good time. She was in love with Miss Christy's Snow White outfit. I guess she's into princesses already...that's my girl!

Look who we ran into today...

Gabi and I met Nonni and Poppi at Woodfield Mall for lunch today. While walking around shopping we ran into Mickey and Minnie! Gabi was SO excited to see them but when it was finally her turn to say hello and take a picture we got a little scared so mommy had to join her in the picture :)

Alyssa's birthday weekend

We all went to CL to celebrate Alyssa's birthday. We made a trip to the pumpkin patch and also got a pony ride out of it! Sorry there are no pictures of the birthday girl...I will work on that :)

Jonamac Orchard

Bob and Gayle came in for a visit so we all went to the Jonamac Orchard. We went apple picking, played in a petting zoo and play area and ate fresh donuts! It was chilly out but I think everyone still had a good time...especially Gabi.
