Sushi

Lyssa, Gabi and I went out for sushi...something I haven't found in Glen Ellyn yet. Thankfully we were the only people in the restaurant because Gabi got a little too interested in the sushi...she put her foot right up on the table and spread it around in the unagi sauce! Lyssa and I couldn't stop laughing. Gross but funny!

Making friends

While we sat through a delay back to Chicago Gabi made some friends. She saw the two girls and crawled right over. Thankfully they were very receptive. She kept giving them hugs and kisses...no stranger danger I guess.

Sand castles?

Well, it was more like playing in sand but someday I'm sure a castle will be made. She just loved the sand, ocean, pool, swings...I'm so happy she's a beach bum!

4th of July

We took Gabi to the Kiawah Island parade. Poppi bought her a Cubs jersey (red, white and blue) to wear for the day. She was more interested in taking Bill's hat off then watching the parade...maybe next year it will be more fun for her.

The Monkey has landed

Auntie Lyssa (aka Monkey) arrived last night. Daddy bought Gabi a new t-shirt to welcome her. She is our little monkey these days :)

Swings

We took Gabi to Night Heron Park and she loves the swings! She also enjoys people watching too. We might need to get ourselves a swing set at home.
