After her bath Gabi got dressed up in a new outfit she got for Christmas. Her new teddy also wanted to pose with her.

Gabi's first Christmas

We all had a wonderful Christmas day in Crystal Lake. I think Gabi thoroughly enjoyed her first Christmas. Santa sure was good to her:) She slept in her new Christmas pajamas and even woke up next to dad.

Parke Family Christmas Celebration

Gabi, Bill and I drove to Indy to celebrate Christmas with the entire Parke family. We got to meet the newest addition to the family, John David Camden:) (Unfortunately I don't have a picture of Gabi and John David together). It was a fun visit. Gabi was such a good girl. She had the baby whisperers to keep her happy (Tyler, Bob and Michelle). She also got LOTS of love from her Great Grandmas.

Moving to the big bed

Gabi says not to worry about moving her to the crib...she's ready to go right to the big bed:) Don't worry she's not really sleeping with us. She was just helping me make the bed this morning and when I looked up she looked very happy all propped up in our bed.

KU's secret weapon

Gabi got all dressed up to cheer for KU tonight. She's their cutest fan! Also had to show off her little spankies.

The hat finally fits!

I bought this hat thinking Gabi would come home from the hospital in it..ha! Well, the hat finally fits her little pea head. Had to show it off.

St. Nicholas Day

Gabi must have known her stocking was full because she got up early and happy to see what St. Nick brought her.

Nap time

Gabi and I ran a few errands and when we got home she didn't seem to want to get up. I let her finish up her nap but not before I got a cute picture.

Gabi's first Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful weekend out in Crystal Lake and a yummy Thanksgiving. Gabi got to finally meet her Cousin Stacey:). Once again she and Tuckman were given LOTS of love. But don't worry...Tucker wasn't given too much love. No one would slip him turkey...right dad?!
Gabi even got to hangout with her future husband (Oliver Wolfberg). Grandpas Wolfberg and Halstead have things all figured out. So cute!
Oh and I finally have a picture of Gabi and Aunt Gerrie...sorry it took so long.

Look who has neck control

Since Gabi is now in control of her head/neck we thought we'd try out the Bumbo. She looks so cute sitting up and hanging out with us.

Busy day

Gabi had a busy day. We met Dad downtown for lunch and met all of his co-workers...she was a hit! Once we got home it was bath time (she didn't cry this time). YIPPEE! Then Gabi decided to help dad wrap up his workday. She's a smart one:)
Now we're all ready for a relaxing night at home.

2 month appointment

Our little girl is healthy, happy and getting big. She now weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces and she's 23.5 inches long.
She's in the 50th percentile for weight, 10-20th percentile for head size, and 75th percentile for height.
To sum things up she's a tall little girl that's an average weight with a wee little pea head!
She did hate the shots but hopefully she's already forgotten. Wish Bill and I could forget.

We've been loving all of Gabi's big smiles lately. She's especially happy in the morning. Just realized I should share with everyone else. She makes my heart melt!

Playdate

Gabi and I met up with my childhood friends (Jenny and Stacy) and their children (Addison and Parker). It was a fun visit. We tried to get a good picture of the 3 kids...looks like they're all tipping over:)

Bill's birthday dinner

We got a small group together to celebrate Bill's birthday. Since we were all dressed up for the celebration we thought we'd take a family photo.

Lazy Sunday

Gabi hung out with the boys on our lazy Sunday afternoon. I think she's a huge Bears fan:)

Auntie Lyssa took the day off and hung out with Gabi and I. Our fun day together included bath time. She's not a big fan of the bath but she seemed to cheer up when we sang Rubber Duckie!

Still growing...

Gabi is 8 pounds 13 ounces today! I can hardly believe how fast she is growing. She really likes to eat:)

Trip to Crystal Lake

Gabi got to meet even more relatives this weekend! Greg and Lee Ann flew in from California to meet their new niece. Everyone got some Gabi time...don't think we put her down all weekend:) It was great seeing them along with the Pacana, Nader, and Halstead families! Tucker also had a good time with his Uncle Greg that gave him lots of love.

Gabi is soooooooooooo BIG

Gabi had another doctor's appointment today. She is in perfect health. I'm amazed to report that she now weighs 7 pounds 10 ounces!!!! She's growing so fast.

Trip to Indianapolis

Gabi got to meet all of her Indianapolis relatives over the weekend. She met both of her Great Grandmas along with her aunts, uncles and cousins. It was a fun trip. Gabi was passed around and held by everyone! She received LOTS of love.
